I'm still working on a 'little' one-shot (it's slow going because of work), but it's actually not all that little anymore (6k and counting). It's for my Grey Warden Rook Summer Thorne, for the AU verse I share with @natsora @ohimjustabard and @crackedskel.

I actually have something to share this week after not writing for a few weeks because of the Holidays and work stuff.

I started writing down Summer's backstory, but this is something that might or might not have happened. An AU if you so will.

WIP Wednesday Friday + Messy WIP + 5 sentence Friday (on Friday)

I haven't really written anything since before Christmas because things got busy and adulting is stupid. But I've been thinking about writing a lot and I guess I know have three WIPs. Today I finally wrote - something - again. I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do with it, if it's going into a fic or if it remains a voice study just for me and a few collaboraters (@ohimjustabard, @natsora and @crackedskel). And because I'm not quite sure about this I feel it qualifies for the Messy WIP tags I got.

Asha:

Asha does speak elven, dwarven, qunari, orlesian and trade. She learned all languages during her childhood before she joined the Lords of Fortune.

Asha loves to cook, and she's pretty good at it too. In another life she might have become a chef. She likes to experiment with recipies; she often has to because of missing ingredients.

She's scared of wolves. Usually she can control her fear, but if she has a bad day even dogs make her jumpy.

Asha's father and stepmom died when Asha was five or six and they were on their way to get her to a circle because her magic had started to show. They were attacked and Asha was the only survivor. The only thing she has left of her father's is a letter. The letter is encrypted somehow and Asha has not been able to read it yet.

Asha has a nice alto voice.

Summer:

Summer is Charter's daughter, from an earlier 'relationship'. The father's not in the picture.

Summer was blighted when she was 14 and Leliana intervened to cure her and make her a Grey Warden. This was kept secret for a few years. Summer eventually joined the Wardens when she was 19.

Summer is a decent lute player and she likes to read.

Summer is a horse-girl.

Summer stayed at Shyhold/with the Inquisition while Charter was working. She liked Harding and Josephine best from all the grown-ups.

So, I think this is the first Uquiz where I don't agree with the results. It should be violence for Asha, because she will fuck you up if she hates you.

And for Summer it should be words of discouragement, because she is at heart not a violent person, she's not a very physical person.
