✿ カリーヴルスト | Currywurst ・ドイツ・ベルリン名物のファストフード。焼いた(茹でた)ソーセージの上にケチャップとカレー粉 (カレーソース)をかけたシンプルな料理です。その起源には諸説あるものの、1949年ドイツ人女性・ヘルタホイヴァー氏が考案したという説が最も有力な説として知られています。2019年には、カリーヴルスト発売70周年を記念して、カリーヴルストとヘルタホイヴァー氏が描かれた記念硬貨が発行されました。

Food stalls in the market near Alexanderplatz in Berlin. These seemed very popular and smelt great! You could have any combination of ingredients you liked, basically, and they were all doing a roaring trade!

@unknownmind1 have you braved the fayre this year? The Lovely Husband and I popped in so he could enjoy his ritual once-annually festive curry wurst, but after that we lasted about 15 mins in the thronging, swarming crowds before ducking into Starbucks for a little (relative) peace and quiet!
