This video had found it's way into our "Shame Channel". And just...why? Who would do this kind of thing?

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you deep fried carrots? Well, if you did, you're in luck, cause that's what I did today.
Pretty okay actually
Since tumblr seems to enjoy cursed cooking adventures: here's mine.
My wife was watching a mythbusters episode where they try to dissolve a steak in coke. The team found that it did not cause the meat to dissolve, but did tenderize it. So my wife decided we ought to try it but with pepsi (the obviously superior beverage). I suggested we also swap the steak out for pork.
So we got some pork loin on sale and pepsi from the store for like 5 bucks total, and set the pork to marinade in pepsi (unfortunately I did not take pictures of the process, so no progress shot exists. It looked kind of like a normal marinade - brown and opaque).
We left that in the fridge for a few hours, and when we drained the pepsi marinade the meat looked slightly pickled. My wife cooked it in a pan with some soy sauce.
Results: the outer bit of the pork chops did have a very slight taste from the pepsi, but there was no added flavor to the bulk of the meat. It was indeed very tender though, could cut through it with a plastic knife, where normally the meat would take quite a bit of sawing.
currently going through an old midwestern cookbook and i am just finding the most bizarre stuff.
the crab meat mold is not shocking. it is about what i expect from a good old fashioned cursed jello recipe. however…
WHY ARE WE PUTTING CHEESE WHIZ IN FUDGE????
WHY ARE WE PUTTING VELVEETA IN FUDGE??????
As a form of petty revenge, I will bring 1950s Jell-O dishes to family gatherings.
send me your most cursed jello dishes
Tumblr, please help me find that one joke cooking video where the guy is making a calzone or something and it starts out like a normal recipe but then by the end he's fermenting the thing in an oak barrel and turning it back into dough?
My mom makes tea in a dutch oven
2nd pic has soap in it
Local store wouldn't sell me one single bottle of stout beer for me cooking and no other place seems to have singles so I am now home and doing food crimes in an attempt to get the flavour profile I'm looking for.
Of course I'm somehow the kind of person who has hops handy, but not yeast...but I may have a solution
Gotta hand it to cutthroat kitchen - it taught me how to think outside the box.
