Tis true. I can smell either when a tornado is imminent, or already on the ground…

my drive today
The midwestern urge to play in the creek.
"Need a hand?"
Bonus:
LMFAO as a midwesterner I've never seen a tornado in person but I want to. It's on my bucket list
Fair! And I’m not even a midwesterner. I’m a southerner, and my area has had three tornados in the past two years. Mostly, around here, you aren’t unfortunate (or fortunate!) enough to see a full tornado, but what you will sometimes see is the funnel clouds, before they touch down.
I can, have, and will stand on the porch in an active tornado. It’s a terrible idea, life-threatening, unwise—but it’s so fun. I kid you not, I write the experience of riding a dragon in my IC fanfictions as feeling similar to standing in the wind during a tornado. It is wild!
If you ever get the chance to enjoy this on your bucket list, I hope you are safe and that you have an absolute blast!
(NOTE: Please do not risk your lives, my dear mutuals. Tornado safety is important. I’m just southern.)
today in class I said I don't think utah has enough cornfields and immediately 2 nearby people turned around and went YES YOU'RE SO RIGHT and then we bonded over the desire to go to a farm supply store
