robin?
A lot of people seemed to quite like my Yennaia moodboard the other day so I decided to make another one.
Another Yennaia AU. Knight Yennefer and Cursed Queen Tissaia (Sorry I’m not good at writing, but I tried to write a little summary for it):
Yennefer of Vengerberg always knew she wanted to become a knight. When a royal decree comes from Aretuza for all knights of the realm to come to it’s aid to slay a fearsome dragon that has been terrorising the kingdom, she knows this is her chance to make her name and become a real knight. Destiny has finally called her. But things are not what they seem. The Royal Wizard Stregobor, who put out the decree for aid, seems shady as fuck. Also no one has seen the Queen of Aretuza Tissaia de Vries in months. She seems to have disappeared around the same time the dragon appeared. When Yennefer realises the connection, she must find a way to break the curse, save the kingdom and try not to lose her heart to the beautiful and imposing dragon/queen Tissaia de Vries in the process.
#firstdraftisoverparty 🥳🎈 (and it’s 100K words wtf)
I am incredibly proud to announce that 7 months, 139 pages, 105,210 words and a lot of pain and joy later, the first draft of my work in progress CURSED QUEEN is finally finished !! when I say this is probably the greatest achievement of life, I’m not exaggerating. this took more effort than I ever thought was possible for me to put into a project and despite the fact it is admittedly the fairly crappy first draft of a really-needs-some-work young-adult-adjacent fantasy novel, I’m honestly proud of how it turned out. this is the first book I’ve ever written. I’m sure it won’t be the last !! one thing is for sure - I never could’ve done this without this blog, this community and all you folks who supported and inspired me with your own wonderful stories and dedication to The Craft™
lots of love from me to all of you in this difficult and stressful time. I’m more grateful to all my friends and followers here than I could ever truly describe💕
🎃Have some more Queenbumps to get into the Halloween spirit🎃
you: “misfire”
me, an intellectual:
Something evil, something good
"Where do the gods go when they die?"
The sun is rising slow this morn; it casts wary shadows amidst a war torn world, and the demon smirks.
"They become mortal."
"Will they ever gain their deity back?"
"Perhaps," is his answer and she shifts against the stone at her back. "When they remember why mortals raised them to power; the god of famine wasn't always the god of famine."
She ponders that; he hands her an apple and she grasps it in her long fingers. "She once filled fields with grain. They must remember love and loyalty then, yes? Maybe even humility." At his nod, she asks her next question. "And if they don't recall their purpose?"
His teeth nigh glow, broken and fanged. "Then they become like me."
She sees it somewhere behind his heavy gaze; there was something good there, once...
Blessed be the cursed queen
I don't know which one is my worst creation yet
