Something I'm working on for the shop (which is technically open, by the way, though I'm still fiddling with print pricing. Costs may be adjusted without notice while I work things out!)
The painting isn't finished, but I was antsy and wanted to test how it would look as a repeat pattern. The mockup was generated by the print service I'm using for blankets.
Half drop repeats have been a struggle to wrap my head around. The symbols function in Affinity is a lifesaver, since I can automate some of the process for adjusting things. Hopefully I can finish the painting for this soon and update the symbols! ... now I just need to do that and figure out why it's adding a transparent border...
I have a version with and without background stripes. I like the stripes better, I think, but I'm definitely open to feedback.
Since I've lost my job I need to bring in income until I'm able to get another job. I've started to crochet and am loving it! If you'd like a custom blanket for $80 hit me up. This blanket is the comfy fleece one and wow it’s so soft! They did an amazing job on the design and everything. It’s so perfect!
