A second mando duck to go with the cara dune pair. Its always interesting revisiting a design you've painted before. I always find new intricacies in the character design and costumer when Im working on a duck for that character.

LEIF DUCK (commission)
Second cara dune duck. Love this type of duck as a base but can't find them anywhere any more. So frustrating!
MARIANNE DUCK (academy) (commission)
Boey and Mae duckies!
A Mother’s Day gift and Dad’s birthday gift.
sometimes I ask myself: at what point does it stop being a duck?
The first three ducks I made that had attached parts! They were the tests for what clay would work best.
I started with Sculpey clay as modeled by the Sylph of Life on the right. I first sculpted the clay on the duck, then tried to remove it to bake it, and stuff shrunk slightly so it didn’t fit back together as nicely. One-Punch Duck is showing off this really smelly paper mache like stuff that I’m never touching again. And the Eelektross on the left uses the winning material: Model Magic! It’s very lightweight compared to the other materials and I just use Elmer’s glue to attach the pieces that don’t stick by themselves.
anyway, expect more of these little guys!
