Hello, this is my contribution to the acerby community. She was supposed to be a small and easy project to unwind after the narrative gundam ver ka, which ballooned into a medium project.

A picnic at the park with the Boyfriend and my friend R.

Today, we braved the heat and went on a picnic to enjoy the shade and wind at the local park!

We prepared a lot of iced tea and multiple kinds of tea sandwiches as well as some refreshing skewers. R. brought a beautiful embroidered tablecloth for us to sit on, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Since both R. and my Boyfriend are fans of TTRPG they had much to talk about, and it was lovely to take the time to sit together and enjoy the birdsong and the wind in the branches. R. dabbles in EGL, though she's more of a decora sort of person usually!

We took a lot of photos obviously; R. had some lovely ones and I'm very glad with how this coordinate turned out for the most part. The bow being velvet though means it didn't catch the light how I expected... Ah well. I felt a bit self conscious about my body hair, but I figured, it's just too hot for long sleeves and otk socks. I completely forgot to put rings on, but then again, heat and finger foods!

Model kit talk!

Today's model kit is the master grade Hyaku-Shiki with a custom color palette!

While thinking about my coord, I knew I wanted to wear my Dim Light skirt and I asked my Boyfriend if there were any mechs that had such a golden and burgundy color scheme. We both thought of the Hyaku-Shiki, but its blue pieces didn't match so much, so I basically decided to paint over the colorful pieces to a wine red and pink color scheme! As I was painting, I realized the beam saber and general demeanor of it reminded me a lot of Revolutionary Girl Utena, so I added little roses on the shoulder pieces in place of the usual stickers and decals. It's interesting how differently the gold plating photographs in direct vs indirect light! (Also I stole the beam saber effect from my Boyfriend's Qubeley Damned, because the Hyaku-Shiki's beam effect is bright yellow which just wasn't the vibe).

progress on the custom earthspark soundwave also! got all the paint on, now im slowly starting to put him together. I need to find a decal or something for the con insignia cause my shaky ass hands can't do detail that small. otherwise its going way smoother than expected!
