obviously this is a Dream for in the future where i have money and space but I'd love to make customs for all of Melody's friends. Them supporting her and standing together while representing the four little girls from the Alabama Bombing is something that legitimately makes me cry. Even though they don't appear much, just the scene alone makes me care about them SO much. screw the movie for erasing them and Melody's entire family lmao
But anyway, looking at all these girls. (BTW: Sharon's surname was revealed through this website, do you think she's named after Dahl Taylor and Val after Connie Porter?)
I'm thinking, respectively, an Addy mold for Val, a Claudie mold for Sharon, and a Makena mold for Diane.
Val usually has a braided bun, so I could probably use any longer-hair wig for that. Sharon and Diane tend to have straightened hairstyles with Diane's hair being flipped at the ends like Melody's. Diane also distinctly has side-bangs so I'd need a wig that works with that.
For their main outfits, Val's yellow blouse and skirt would match her portrait but she mainly tends to be illustrated in blue, so I think her blue button-dress from the Park illustration would be cute. The only time she's illustrated in the yellow blouse is in a church scene as well so it's probably one of her formal outfits.
For Diane and Sharon, I'd probably go based on the ones they wear in the portraits here; I'm gonna have to go through Melody's easy readers to see if they have the full outfits illustrated but I do really like Diane's blouse design. Also for Sharon, I think we should swap her yellow headband for a blue one so her and Melody can match!
