Hello! This is the inaugural post on the official Tumblr for Tusker Watch Company. We make singular custom watches and are also on the road to making a new microbrand!
Finished this custom watch conversion with my sweet potato today!
we converted a tissot pr516 seastar (that was seized) into a quartz movement with a custom painted dial.
During this project, the plastic spacer had to be cut to fit inside the case, the dial stripped, primed, filled (from chronograph holes) and then painted and given a couple of light coats of lacquer to seal the custom design that was done using posca paint pens.
