Almost worse than missing a slot on that perfect wig or TC is the sting of realizing you got conned into paying more. There are a few tips to remember to protect yourself when buying CWs 1.DO YOUR RESEARCH! Never solely rely on the seller to dictate the value of something, especially when they make big claims [ie private, 1 batch, no recolors] and aren't showing proof. There are some great resources that you should never hesitate to use. -> Custom Wear Identity Thread Great for details like artist, submitted, batch info, private/public -> Custom Wear Release Thread Great for details like artist, submitted, batch info, private/public -> Item Pricing Forum In addition to batch info, often great with estimates -> SubetaLodge CWs List Helpful for finding newest releases, great CIs, and previewing items -> Arvee Best for older CWs (has it been updated?) allows you to make outfits; ensure the CW is a perfect fit -> Friends and Other Users Think your getting the bumrush? Ask a few people that are movers and shakers in the CW game. The community is here to enjoy art and you should be able to grab a we opinions before buying 2.
