i didn’t know.

had no idea making a home out of

a person

was naive.

your hands tremble,

and are cracked,

and i let my heart break open,

let this ribbon inside of me

unravel,

and there were clouds,

but i didn’t notice.

the sun was warm,

it kissed my skin,

but

i didn’t notice.

i didn’t feel vibrance or depth,

it was black and white and

windowless.

it was over.
