Lupus affects both men and women. The etiology is unknown. There are different types . One being Systemic Lupus Erytethamosus being the worse. The following are Cutaneous and Discoid both skin disorders. Also, one more being drug induced Lupus, which is onset from medicine.

Well, I've been fighting this weird lip blistering issue since March, and it's still occurring. It's less frequent, thankfully. But I went to an allergist--I have a tentative diagnosis of cutaneous lupus. I suppose that's a start!
