Got7 Reaction to You Learning One of their Songs on Ukulele.
Jaebum would react with a simple smile upon walking into your room to see you playing the instrumental to “If.” He would start singing as you reached the chorus, but you stopped, as you didn’t know he was standing behind you-- slightly out of your sight. “Keep going, Jagi!” He would insist, slowly moving beside you and taking a seat. The rest of the night would consist of you two singing (and playing) along to various Got7 songs (at least attempting to).
“Mark, come here I have something to show you!” You shouted, rather excited-like from the other room. When he appeared in the doorway and saw you holding your ukulele, a smile appeared on his face. He always loved hearing you play. He sat on the floor in front of you, and encouraged you to start. He would sway back and fourth (and maybe even sing along) as you played the tune to “Confession Song,” and once you were done he would hug and compliment you on your stellar ukulele skills.
Waiting for Jackson to come home from practice one night, you picked up your ukulele in boredom and started playing simple tunes you had encased in your mind since you first started learning. Quickly, though, you had run out of songs to strum, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t learn new ones. Fast forward an hour or so to Jackson walking in the door to you strumming a ukulele-modified version of “Fly.” He would light up and kick off his shoes before running to you, wanting to hear more. You wouldn’t have finished the song before he was clapping and complimenting you on how great you did. He would be really impressed and ask you to play more and maybe teach him a song or two.
While awaiting Jinyoung to come home from practice, you thought you would dust off your old ukulele that hadn’t been touched in ages. You started playing as if you had practiced everyday though, and soon found yourself trying to play an instrumental version of “Never Ever” while singing. You didn’t hear him walk in, and was thrown off (and a little scared) when he came from behind you and laid his head in the crook of your neck from behind you. “Sorry to scare you, Jagi, I just couldn’t help seeing where your lovely voice was coming from.” He would say softly. He would be really complimentary and encourage you to keep singing so he could sing and harmonize with you.
You had recently started learning ukulele and was experimenting with singing different songs while you played. You had scoured your imagination, trying to come up with a song that you would enjoy playing when “Just Right” popped into you head. You immediately started strumming different chords to find the right one, and once you did you took off. Within an hour or so, you were playing while singing the lyrics, and had invited Youngjae to come listen to the finished product. He would have a huge, welcoming grin on his face the whole time, and would sway back and fourth as you sang the chorus. He would be really into the song, and would sometimes even add some harmony when he could. This started a night filled with endless singing, which Youngjae loved.
When Bam would get home from practice to see you strumming along to “If You Do,” his first impression would be along the lines of “Woah when did she learn how to play ukulele??” Once that question subsided, he would find where you were playing from and stand in the doorway smiling, waiting for you to notice him. Once you did, he would immediately say: “Can I try?” even though he has little to none ukulele experience whatsoever. Either way, you would let him strum his little heart out even though he wasn’t playing correct chords, and probably stop him after a few minutes so he doesn’t break any strings. After that, he would develop a new appreciation for your talent and tell you to keep playing, giving you different song suggestions the rest of the night.
This boy would be nothing but a cheerleader for you when it came to you playing ukulele. He would always love hearing you play and sing, but you had never done a Got7 song before, so to surprise him, you started learning chords to “Forever Young.” When it was finally time to show him, he would sit beside you and watch you intensely with a calm smile, quietly humming along as you sang the chorus beautifully. “I don’t know how you can be this talented, Jagiya, well done!” He would say as he high-fived and hugged you.
