it’s kinda hilarious how some people just ignore a huge part of aomine’s development WHERE HE’S MORE MATURE. and exactly. ugh. it’s okay if people like some angst but don’t think the ship is JUST that. kinda like with my otp. people just apply the most horrible terms to them and i’m just like…i think it’s a relationship that gives hope, after all that happened?? that’s getting so protective over otp and favorite characters, i know that feel, i’m going through that right now :< *pats*
Awww do people do that to commashipping? Wow that's weird, I also think of it as a very hopeful ship (like new beginnings, sharing different opinions, etc)
And yes, it's a shame when some people ignore Aomine and Kise's character development. They're both a lot more mature now and less arrogant, so they'd both be more willing to talk over things (although I still think 1-on-1s will be their way of resolving conflicts ultimately lol) Plus I never saw Aomine as someone who likes to hurt people or who goes off in a rage, because the only reason he did that before was due to how wretched he felt about basketball and the lack of a good rival. But even then, he wasn't the type to make people hurt needlessly (may I remind everyone of the end of the Touou/Kaijou match?) He's not someone who wants to see their loved ones hurt-if he ever does he'd probably react like an awkward teddy bear and try to make them feel better somehow.

I think the deathfics started affecting our views, especially after Yellow got so popular on tumblr. I completely agree with you that they are an idiot couple though. In fact most pairings in kurobasu are idiotic~
Hahaha that they are ;) And I totally agree, Yellow (and Nevertheless Hello which personally makes me cry more) really made the Aokise fandom into a tearsfest. I guess there is something about Aokise that makes writers want to give it a tragic ending?
But yeah ultimately I see Aokise as an idiot pairing who gets into spats, where both of them end up calling Kuroko in the middle of the night XD But then Kuroko just turns off his phone and leaves them to deal with it, which they do so in a very clumsy way with lots of blushing and stuttering.

but i really love the ones where its onesided , and the other just looks from a far knowing hes love will not be returned, kise is totally that for me, always tailing aomine but then he gets tired and stops , then aomine realizes how lonely it is
Yeah I have a soft spot for those too! Especially if they're teikou-era or during their match against each other. Personally it doesn't feel right if it takes place during the future, since so much Kise's character development was him branching away from Aomine. But I really do like it when Aomine realizes how much Kise actually means to him TwT
