Year 1600 Part 1:

The Century began with Matilda and Cuthbert becoming teenagers. Both of whom were deeply cared for by the ones close to them. Susanna became an adult though she wanted more time to think on getting married. 

Rachel learned she was pregnant after she and Rodrigo finally decided to begin trying for a baby. Of course, her jealousy began to run rampant much to Susanna and Rodrigo’s disappointment as she was constantly watching over them despite them not doing anything improper. 

Far away, Henry Akiyama married Benedict’s cousin, Mikaela, though no one in the family was present, he did send a letter to Henford to let his siblings know that he was still alive and was willing to consider reestablishing contact. 

With the good news of Henry potentially returning, the Carlisle home in Tartosa was still full of grief as they continued to mourn Thomasin’s loss. That said, Thomasin did visit though no one was awake to see her, she was happy to see her children beginning to grow up well. 

The Jaleel family and the Laurent family had always been close ever since Wilmot was the nanny for the previous family head so it was no surprise that their children would also get to know each other. Still it was a shock when John III proposed to Clemence  and the two announced they had left town for a week and eloped shortly before Clemence’s eighteenth birthday.

Year 1588 Part 1:

Adrian and Barnaby celebrated their thirteenth birthday with their mother, Grandfather, Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. It was a joyous event and Wilmot was happy to see her late husband in her boys as they grew now that it had been a year since his passing. 

Matilda turned one to the joy of her mother and luckily the dogs Cecily kept got on well with the toddler. 

Susanna celebrated her sixth birthday with her family present though Adrian and John couldn’t help but think about how Elizabeth would have loved to see her grow. 

Cuthbert also turned one though it seemed he took a lot after his father as opposed to his mother. 

It wasn’t made into a big festivity but Julian and Josian Carlisle also celebrated their eighteenth birthday. 

Philippa was terrified when she went into labor again with her sons but was delighted to welcome Osbert and Terric Suzuki into the world with the name of the person she knew to be responsible for them.

Year 1587 Part 1:

TW/CW: Death, Death Mention

The beginning of the year started out well when Margery delivered her son Cuthbert safely though the next few months of the year were brutal on the entire family. Things started to look up when the Laurent family head learned where Ruth had been married off to though which was quickly shared through Talia’s tome.

Wilmot was widowed as Faiz succumbed to old age, then the famine took it’s toll on Agnes and Blanche leaving Ambrose and Adrian as the last of their surviving siblings. Then Judith’s middle child died of hunger and Clemence was widowed when her husband Dimitri died. All this occurred in the span of a few short weeks following the birth of Cuthbert. 

Cecily delivered a healthy daughter she named Matilda which was welcome news.  Benedict celebrated his sixth birthday to the delight of his mother though with all the bad news coming in he really just wanted to rest until it stopped. 

Then Margery died from the famine. Agnes could hardly enjoy her birthday with so much death in the community. 

John Laurent II arrived at the Pancake residence to find that he was too late. His sister had sadly passed in childbirth years ago but only recently had a strange woman carrying an odd book come to visit asking about Ruth. When she learned about her fate, every member in the house at the time had mysteriously died. Though more strange was that Ruth’s sons were never found. 

Adrian celebrated his fifty-third birthday mostly alone, the year was long and he found it hard to think of celebrating milestones when his sister had just passed a few months back. The news of Ruth’s death hurt him, he was so tired of outliving people so much younger than himself. He wondered if his Aunt Larissa was alright now that she was almost certainly with her great-grandsons. She still wasn’t responding to anyone in the tome but it was clear she was keeping up to date.

Surviving Family:

Talia’s eldest child, Thomas Carlisle married Isabel Goth and the couple had six children before Isabel’s death. Anthony, Andrew, Agnes, Adam, Allen, and Arthur. Unfortunately both Adam and Allen passed away as children. After Isabel’s death, Thomas remarried Margery Thorne and the couple had two sons, Adrian and Ambrose. Ambrose married Ann Silversweater and took her last name before they had five children. Thomas, Alexander, Margery, William, and Sarah. Alexander sadly died as an infant. 

Ambrose’s eldest, Thomas Silversweater died before his twenties and fathered three children. With Chanel Cahill he had twins, Thomas and Anne, though his son Thomas died in the plague and with Julianna Jang he had his daughter Lindsay. Thomas’s daughter Anne is pictured first followed by her husband Robert Pancakes who was the father of Hana’s son Javon. Then Lindsay is pictured. 

Ambrose’s daughter Margery married Laurent Ember and they had two children before they died, a daughter, Anne, who passed away in her toddler years and their son, Cuthbert, who is pictured below Lindsay Jang. 

Margery’s twin, William, is pictured with his wife, Patricia Charm, followed by their three children, Amy, Janet and Melrose in that order. Amy married Adonis Welsh who is a sim from the gallery that I didn’t keep track of who made them so I didn’t show them and they have a son named Darren.

1500-1599 Recap Part 79:

Arthur became a child. 

Philip and Satoshi became toddlers and Joyce became a teenager. 

Frideswide became a toddler and now that the toddlers don’t look the same it is interesting to see the genetics of the cousins at play. 

Cuthbert and Matilda became children. Amy became a teenager.

Year 1593:

TW/CW: Death

The year was a good one for the family as Amy celebrated her thirteenth birthday followed by Cuthbert and Matilda celebrating their sixth. Thomasin turned thirty-five though she wondered where the time went especially as her nephews Adrian and Barnaby turned eighteen. 

Cecily’s niece and one of her nephews from her maternal sister came to help her while she was pregnant which she was insistent she didn’t actually need the help. So when her niece and Barnaby married that March it didn’t really affect her all that much aside from making her happy to see her family find happiness. 

Sometime early in the year John Laurent II died though it was only announced at the end of March so it was unclear when exactly it happened. 

Rachel celebrated her eighteenth birthday and soon Cecily went into labor with her by her side to help. The Markovic family welcomed healthy twins, Mary and Lawrence in early May. 

Cecily’s visiting nephew and Rachel then decided to marry in June after having been courting in “secret” though Cecily knew all about it. 

November brought about a new addition to the family as Thomasin delivered her daughter Grace and for the first time she was raising two children at once which was something new for her.
