Too Much Monkey Business!

"Saru!!! Wake the hell up! You have slept long enough!" Hebi was growing more and more irritable as the day went on, and he was confined to what might as well be a coma patient. Here it is, 11 in the morning, and she was still snoring away. "This is ridiculous!" Hebi's eye caught a pillow hanging off of the side of the bed and reached for it; hoisting it up with both hands and getting ready to launch his feather filled tool at his partner, he stopped midway through his toss as he heard his collar jingle. Wait a minute... she's asleep, which means...FREEDOM!! Smiling Hebi reached for his collar and detached the chain around his neck, headed for the window and then leaped out.

Hebi was all over the place, running and jumping all over town in complete and utter bliss! It is rare for him to be off of the chain, and he wasn't about to waste this small chance for a bit of freedom. After about an hour of aimless wandering, and gawking at the new cites of the city, Hebi found himself standing before a giant arch with the word 'Zoo' written in huge letters over the entry way. It was Bunkyo's very own Zoo. Hebi stood completely dumbfounded. "Whoaaa... Now this is what I am talking about!" Running towards the entrance, completely unaware of any sort of admittance fee, a security guard stopped him.

"No ticket, no entrance young man."

"What?! Come on, I just want to see what's in there!"

"I am sorry, but no ticket, no entry. Now run along."

Being turned away had no effect on Hebi, as he was determined to get in. All he had to do was jump the giant walls, and presto, he would be in. Smiling, Hebi looked to either side of where he stood in order to make sure he was out of sight, and leaped over the wall. "That was too easy. Can't keep me out of here." Brushing his hands off, he looked up, and his jaw dropped. He found himself standing in one of the most wondrous places he has ever been. There were crazy looking beasts everywhere! He leaped forward and started leaping from one exhibit to another. 

"What is that! They look just like Saru! The fur, the tail, and the huge rears! These monkeys shouldn't be locked up!" Hebi spotted the monkey exhibit and ran over to the sealed gate. I really should let them out, Saru would be so pleased to see these guys! Hebi's mind wandered with a vision of Saru patting him on the head and smiling with the sight of her fellow kin... That settles it, I am letting them out! 

"Now roar, Zabimaru!" Whipping out his zanpakuto, Hebi slashed the lock and opened the gate, releasing all of the monkey's into the zoo and the unsuspecting crowd of families and workers. A smile from ear to ear grazed his face, "Saru will be so pleased!"

17: “I was feeling a little off today, but you definitely turned me on.”

    { ❥ } — Kaien and Yue had settled for a day together after his work shift, reading an assortment of random material that could be almost anything. Some novels, some magazines, and some encyclopedias when they required information for research in their endeavors to progress with their information on a case. Papers were strewn about her apartment, collected together in an order that made sense to the pair of them, their work patterns somehow being hashed together quite well.

                              Hours had passed, Yue stretching up her arms above her head from her place on the couch. Kaien was sitting on the floor, hunched over a stack of papers before he stood slowly to the wall of assorted pictures and string connecting to each picture. While she was not entirely sure what had convinced Kaien to come here and do his work, she didn’t mind, only was conscious in when they had to sleep, but work busied her mind to the point of exhaustion that she didn’t really think nothing else other then the case.

                              Rubbing her eyes, Kaien said, “Tired Yue?”

                              She shook her head, ❝I’m all right… just have been staring at text all day is wearisome.❞

                              “You should rest then,” he suggested, but his gaze remained on her, as if watching her. After a moment, he turned away and returned to his work.

                              Yue sighed, opening up her email to check if anyone had messaged her recently. None did but some newer messages were sent to her regardless, the title piquing her interest. Clicking it open, she found the list to be embarrassing and flush worthy that she herself could not help but turn bright red. These were all so embarrassing to say! Especially the one that had signified would obviously state her intent for the man that she had set her heart on. It was just a matter of whether or not Kaien would catch it. She watched him for a moment as he moved to scratch his head and then turned to come and sit by her feet on the couch, looking over the papers. He had just gotten off work a few hours earlier and they had gone straight to work so he still wore his uniform, one with a tie still strapped around his neck.

                              His fingers tugged on the tie loose as he perused the facts on paper, unaware of Yue’s gaze on him. Her mouth went dry and she felt her skin heat up.

                              ❝You know, I was feeling a little off today, but you definitely turned me on.❞

                              Kaien stiffened, turning his head to face Yue with a subtly raised brow. She looked to be perusing the laptop, looking up information but her gaze was on the screen on not on him. He knew what the term was of what she said… Her cheeks were flushed and he wondered if she said what he thought he had heard her say. He was sure he heard her… right… right?

                              “Yue? Did you just…?”                              ❝Mmm?❞ She looked nervous.                              “… You are… turned on?”

                              He watched as she stiffened, slowly closing the laptop and setting it down on the coffee table before she stiffly rose from her seat on the couch. “Yue, does that mean to say you are aroused? Why?”

                              Normally, she was graceful in her actions that it caught him by surprise when he watched her trip and stumble. She began to stammer incoherent words that Kaien found himself amused by her flustered behavior.

♢ coffee shop ♢ yue & kaien

     { ❥ } — Rain. It was always one of those things that calmed Yue Angelus on a particularly stressful day. That and coffee, but she had yet to find a coffee place that would work with what it was she wanted to do. But, at least, there was rain. There always seemed to be rain in this city and that was fine with her since she moved here partially for it anyway.

                              She studied at Kardia University, renowned for their excellent education in a variety of majors, one of them being music. It was her dream one day that she would eventually have her own music published and that she would become famous through talent alone. But, she knew better and it was why it took her so long to get here in the first place. Once she was let out of class, she made her way to the bus stop so that she could be taken home. She blinked as she realized the bus was taking off upon her approach. Running as fast she could while waving her arm, she came to a stop underneath the safety of the bus stop, panting as she watched as it pull away. She sighed while her hand down her face and through her hair, debating whether she should stay here or keep walking in the rain and risk catching a cold.

                              The rain came to a light drizzle after a bit of time had passed, enough so that she wouldn't need an umbrella, one she had forgotten at home. Leaving the shelter of the bus stop, she headed into the streets of the city that surrounded the university. Tugging her bag strap closer to her as she gripped it, she eyed the cloudy sky until it began to rain heavily again. With a soft groan, she took off running once more, using her bag as a way to cover her from the rain.

                              She was suddenly grateful she wore her black boots today, coming up to her shins with washed out sky blue jeans hiding her slim legs with the slight hang and a black belt around her hips. A white shirt on top with flower patterns that went up the right side, her shirt cut low around her chest in a v-neck as she could feel it almost sticking to her from the rain. Eventually, she made it to the safety of a small alcove in front of a building. She began to try to squeeze her shirt dry only to realize, she wasn't alone.

                              Yue turned her head, noting a male with long dark hair and dark skin stood next to her as she tugged all of her hair to the right when he stood to the left of her to reveal creamy skin of a slender neck. She squeezed out the water from her hair before just leaving it be, clutching at her bag strap on her chest. Goodness though, he was certainly tall and she only came to his chest. It was the first time she's met anyone so tall... She turned her eyes away before she could take in more detail, content to remain in the silence underneath the alcove as she waited for the rain to pass. After all, they were just strangers who found shelter at this particular spot...

♢ journey through life ♢ yue & kaien

    { ❥ } — Time had come to a stand-still for Yue. After she had been cursed, and after she had left Rania, she found herself at the awkwardness of traveling and drifting through the realms until she could find some kind of trail of where the mage had gone off to. It was nearly impossible to follow on after a woman who did not want to be followed, and even more so when she is an entity that made it difficult for her to follow after. Magic loved her as it did magical creatures and the mage was a special case... One where Yue would have a difficult time of finding her without finding someone who had met her.

                                Long ivory hair blew through the wind as she had come to a meadow of flowers. The flowers were in full bloom of white, a field filled with flora that matched the color of her hair and her clothes and stretched as far as the eye could see. Deciding that this was a good place to rest and recharge her magical energy reserves before another realm jump, she sat down in the middle of the field. With nothing else to do, she began to sing a song that sounded sad, with a hint of loneliness. A large gust of wind blew by and from the corner of her eye, she noticed a small boy with an orange-red scarf adorned around his neck, causing her to stop mid-note. She said not a word as she watched him approach and sit down beside her. It wasn't until when the sun began to set did she finally speak up.

                                ❝Would it perhaps be time for you to                                      head home? Your mother would worry.❞

His dark hair fell around his face, and made the guy seem much more morose than he may have actually been. Just sitting alone on a bench, Levy took it upon herself to walk up and say hi.

"Well, hello there! You looked like you could use some company!"

Shinichi cannonly loves lemon pie. 

I have a headcannon that he also loves black coffee and he can't function through the day without at least one cup. Other than that he doesn't really care about what foods he eat. If he is on a case he would forget to eat, but other than that he eats regularly like he should be.

♢ guarded secrets ♢ yue + kaien

     { ❥ } — In all of her wanderings throughout her time on this planet called Earth, Yue had yet to discover and find another of her lifeblood and to find any kind of clue as to the whereabouts for a certain person. Long since this person had left her home country for something else entirely, Yue was unable to find this girl that she had been looking for. For a person who held as much power as this person did, how was it possible that she made herself able to just disappear?

                              Her pink optics glanced up, her eyes following the large crowd of people that moved to and fro the marketplace. Going about their day as they shopped for necessities and did their errands. She appeared to be the only person who was in no rush to go anywhere or was not one to occupy themselves with a book or some form of literature. There were many around her of where she sat on their laptops, reading their books, and even reading their newspapers in the form of a tablet or a laptop. Each of them took sips of either their coffee or their tea, relaxing into the comfortable seats of the cafe that Yue decided to visit.

                              She headed out, hands in her pocket of the cream colored trench coat as she was greeted by the chill of the cold air that awaited outside. Pulling her scarf closer, she blew into her hands for a moment before she began her walk. She kept walking until she finally came to the busiest part of the market, one where there were multiples of restaurants that encircled the square with outdoor seating fenced off from the crowds of people.

                    Then she felt it.

                              Her eyes darted around the square again, this time looking for that strange spike in negative-like energy. She didn't recall that earlier on so where did it—

                    A male with hazel colored eyes and dark hair caught her eye. He was relaxed, but something about him told her of a fighter that has long since been in many wars... ones that she knew all too well. His eyes spoke volumes and she understood, at least a little, as to what kind of life he's had.

                              Unaware of how long she's been staring, she let her gaze be caught by his own.
