Waxer Fett is an island veterinarian, the third of Jango Fett’s four sons. He’s younger than Seventeen (pirate) and Jesse (fisherman), and older than Wooley (surfer).
Boil is a cuttlefish mer, an innate shifter in a seascape cursed to be devoid of magic. He’s employed by The Syndulla, to guard his niece Numa. She gets injured—and there’s nowhere near that’s safe to bring her under the surface. So Boil decides to take her to a land doctor who he thinks will help.
Numa is completely turquoise/yellow/green, lacking any human skin tone, so he wraps her up and covers her head, and with every step he prays that the human doctor will be a good and kind man.
