taehyung felt as though the energy had been wiped from out of him. it was due to the fact that dealing with other students was a pain in the ass caused by some hallucination from the potions provided by the apothecary. he knew not to trust them and yet why did he think that the situation was so amusing the next moment? seeing them stumble on two feet, running around like a bunch headless chickens... at least he had gotten a good laugh, a few snaps of the situation from his phone. as soon as his suit started to become uncomfortable and with the urge to wash the makeup off his face, he knew that he has had enough “partying” and fun for a night, really.

it was amazing how he remained somewhat sober or rather tipsy after a few bottles of regular alcohol. meaning it proved that it would have taken a lot of him otherwise.

he didn’t bother taking anyone else with him as he attempted to drag himself away from the deep forest and away from the others as he’d make his way back to the academy. but he couldn’t even begin to comprehend the horror that he saw right in front of him. a female student who laid on the dirt ground unconscious with blood which was bleeding from head, rather too much as he began to panic on the spot. there was really no room for him to panic and what made it worse was that he was completely alone. “what the hell am i suppose to do now?” he whispers to himself, thinking it wasn’t good to leave her alone because it wasn’t going to be so cruel. “why does it have to be me?”

taehyung had thought fuck it, using his instincts and maybe he’ll get something out of this. more importantly he didn’t want her to die while even knowing that he could have prevented something tragic like the mysterious death of a student. it’d bite him in the ass. with his strong left arm, he lifts her head first as gently but firmly as he could before getting a hold of the rest of her body and attempting to haul her back to the academy. just hoping that she’s still alive when they got there.

Lost Stars

Ghosts.

Of all the things to ruin their party, which had been going pretty damn well in Sehun’s opinion, it had to be ghosts. At the worst, Sehun had imagined the teachers finding out and shutting them down; a fight breaking out even or someone pushing their tolerance limits too far, but no – fucking ghosts. The aftermath was pure chaos, students screaming and shouting, taking off in any direction that would lead them as far away from the haunting apparitions as possible. In the craziness of it all, Sehun had lost sight of both Taemin and Seulgi, his own feet carrying him away from the fray of frightened students and further into the darkness of the forest. The eeriness of the trees looming around him had his hackles rising, nerves frayed and on full alert. Or rather, as alert as he could be after downing multiple teacups worth of potions and a few shots.

Taking advantage of his night vision, Sehun tried to maneuver his way through the trees, leaves crunching under his feet as he tried to navigate back towards the school. The last thing he wanted was to get lost and run into something unnatural. Pausing to gain his bearings again, the crunch of leaves not caused by his own feet caught his attention and he froze, spine rigid with apprehension. Eyes flitting rapidly as he searched for the source of the noise, Sehun let out a sigh of relief when he spotted stark white bunny ears tucked into long brown hair and a lithe figure clad in a spotted blue and white dress. Another party goer, and as he focused further on her features, he recognized her as a classmate of his – Jiho. She looked just as disoriented as he was, if not more as a result of whatever she potions she had ingested throughout the duration of the night.

“Taking our Wonderland role a little too seriously aren’t we, little Alice?” He called, a means of announcing his presence as he started heading in her direction, a little stumble in his step. “I don’t recommend getting lost in here, you’ll never get out.”

self-para: down the rabbit hole

The party is filled with too much frills and glamour, an easy way to disguise what the eye is not suppose to see. Victoria is much too used to the way of hiding the ugly truth with the beautiful lie.

When she had sent her reply for the invite back, she had already declined the drugs. It was a good thing too, seeing as she could smell the intoxication in the air, emitting from the pores of each party-goer she was bumping into in the middle of this forest party that was clearly a bad idea from the beginning.

There was an itch underneath her skin that tingled and it was only getting worse as the night progressed. 

Victoria looked around, in high heels a little too high for a midnight stroll in the forest and a dress that almost looked like a contrast between Alice in Wonderland and Slut of the Century. She doesn’t really care which one she is right now. She came here for a reason, and the reason was to observe. She assess and can tell only a couple of people were probably still alright, gingerly hiding their gazes with a throng of alcoholic drinks that were just as potent, but not with the effect of magic. 

In the end, though, it just feels like a party filled with a bunch of intoxicated teenagers needing a night to be wild.

“Maybe I shouldn’t have bothered coming out,” Victoria mutters to herself, sighing as she takes out a cigarette, ready to light the cancer stick resting between her lips when she hears the screams of ghosts in the vicinity.

Maybe it will be interesting after all.

panic had taken over most of the partygoers at this point, but bora wasn’t a part of that crowd. the screaming about ghosts only intrigued her rather than terrify her. oh, if only she had thought to bring her camera! wait, do ghosts even show up on camera? no, no, that’s vampires. still, as people started to run themselves into a frenzy, the blonde was standing up on her tiptoes, attempting to peer over everyone to spot this ghost herself. it was curiosity at its finest, and if it turned out to be a evil ghost, then she’d start running.

“do you believe in ghosts?” she asked, placing both hands on sana’s shoulders in an effort to hoist herself up to get a better view. she knew the younger familiar wasn’t nearly as intrigued by the idea as she was, and found more amusement in everyone else’s reactions, but company was company, and especially company that she liked. “i don’t think i’ve seen a ghost before. when i was at this hostel in amsterdam, my stuff kept disappearing all the time. i think i lost my keys every day i was there. i’d put it on the coat rack every single day, and every single day it would end up, like... under the bed, or something. and it’s not like i had a lot of stuff to lose, you know? maybe that was ghosts... but i think that was tree elves or something, instead. those little buggers, they love playing tricks.” // @cvsana

panic descended quickly.  at first he couldn’t place it, what was happening, but the darkness distorted around him and anxiety suddenly gripped him like a vice. his high falling, plummeting into the depths of nervousness and anxiety. he stumbled into jiho, into other friends just as lost and confused as he was,  a cold sweat on his brow- he could have sworn he saw something moving in the darkness, in the trees. the beautiful decorations suddenly seemed out of place, what the fuck had they been thinking, to host a party in the deep forest- this place had always given him the fucking creeps. it was too eerie and too silent. he hasn’t been trying to break out of the crowds and flee like the others, he’s had an eye out, gazing fast over the crowd. he even shifted briefly to rely on ever heightened senses, and it was that way that he managed to find him: taemin. he barrels into him fullbodied to wrap his arms around the other, an instinctive reaction before he pulled back, grabbed his hand. “we need to get the fuck out of here, c’mon.” he mumbled quick, chewed at his lowerlip with anxiety, lacing their hands tight together, palms pressed sweaty together.

“i know, this is like, the worst time to mention this, but,” jiho looks up at the sky after tearing her gaze away from jonging, hands reaching up in an attempt to touch the sky, but obviously, the stars are way out of her reach; she ends up grabbing nothing but air tainted with sketchy magic and alcohol and laughter, “i failed a test in ancient magics a week ago.” despite the obvious negativity of that fact, jiho can’t help giggling. her hyperactivity may have subdued a little by now, but the drug is still very much flowing in her veins, her cheeriness never-fading. “sorry, you tried so much to help me but i still sucked. i just can’t keep all the details in my head!” she whines, rolling over to lie on her tummy, not giving a single thing about her outfit getting dirt and flattened, half-broken leaves all over itself.

her eyes travel back at jongin in the exact moment someone randomly screams ‘ghosts!’ – and then hell breaks loose. jiho quickly sits up, her gaze scanning the people as panic emerges, students running around and letting out desperate sounds while she’s just sitting there, mind full of confusion accompanied by a similarly puzzled expression. “uh, what is going on? ghosts? what the heck?” she turns to blink at jongin. “what do you think is happening?”
