"Why does my car click when I turn?" After a short road test the clicking noise was painfully apparent as well as a significant vibration at all speeds. The picture below shows the Driver's side axle that's completely missing the outer "CV Boot". The boot holds the grease in place so it can lubricate the joint. Without any grease in the joint the axle just wears away. The only repair here was to replace the axle.
