...When she reveals a hint of her true form, you figure out, in some deep recess of your mind that’s unaffected by her powers, the reason why you might’ve been scared. There are huge, writhing tentacles, wider and thicker than your forearm. She giggles while leaning her chin on the palm of her hand and, like reading your mind, she tells you:
