"Merry Christmas, Ike!" Pit chirped as he approached the taller man, a gift wrapped package in his hands. He smiled brightly as he held it up to him, "I got you a present! I figured it would be pretty fitting for the season!" Inside the package was a blue knitted sweater with a snowflake patterned. He had gotten him a sweater since it was winter and rather cold out and, well, it quite frankly bothered Pit that the swordsman didn't wear sleeves.
Ike turned toward the familiar, peppy tone, eyes drawn to the colorfully wrapped package the angel held out. It was hard to miss, actually, but from what he had seen of this holiday, that was part of the point.
“Ah, merry Christmas to you as well, Pit,” Ike echoed, returning the other’s smile with a more subdued one of his own. “That was very kind of you to do, but you didn’t need to. All the same,” he said, carefully opening up the gift, “I appreciate the fact that you did, Pit.”
It was a blue sweater with snowflakes on it – as Pit said, it really did fit the season. It was pretty soft, though, and would certainly be warmer than what Ike normally wore.
“Thank you for this, I’ll have to return the favor,” he grinned a little, idly rubbing his thumb into the sweater’s soft material.
