General Taddsfield
General Taddsfield is "an authentic human not one of those cyber freaks". In other words, a cyberphobic asshat. He thinks that humans are perfect they way they are born (but conveniently forgetting how embryos are modified to be disease free and how some parents customize their kids appearance, including his parents). He thinks people who add cyber modifications are weirdos with disgusting sexual kinks and cannot be convinced otherwise. Why would you want to modify perfection after all?
Unfortunately, his view is also shared amongst a large amount (not quite majority) of loud mouths.
He joined the military early on in his life after his mother before him and quickly rose through the ranks. Now at 55, he believes he has seen and done it all. He also believes these "cyber freaks had this virus coming all along" because "they were messing with nature" (also ignoring the fact that modern medicine is the only reason he's alive right now).
When an order went out for the investigation of rogue augs, General Taddsfield jumped at the chance. He was gonna prove that all augs were rogue right down to their code and this was his best chance.
He didn't account for Sarge.
