Cyberpunk 2

Like most Cyberpunk addicts, I’ve been looking forward to the upcoming Cyberpunk 2.

However, after the dispiriting recent events that have seen payment processors, bigoted hate groups, and moral crusaders banning games and locking up the Internet, I’ve started wondering how severely this wave of censorship and oppression will affect Cyberpunk 2.

Sex is everywhere in Night City, and the game is very upfront about themes like sex work and representation of sexual minorities. Cyberpunk 2 is under development right now, when our freedoms and liberties are under attack by morally corrupt bigots.

I'm afraid it would be only logical that current events would raise concerns about Cyberpunk 2's sexual content at CDPR, and especially among the investors, who are quick to start shrieking in panic if there's even the slightest chance that their ROI is in any way being threatened.

Are we going to get a diluted and sanitized version of Cyberpunk 2? I wish I could just once in my life be the optimist and say "Sure we will! The forces of evil will be defeated!" But I'm a jaded cynic and a pessimist, so I'm not holding my breath here.
