Binky guards the Eye of Rom like it’s the last can of tuna in the multiverse. “Trespassers?!” Sweetie, it’s just kids doing your math homework for you.
Cyberchase Plushes from ToyLandByOrlova on Etsy
Digit...
...the kids are here.
Digit is official merch from around 2005. He was produced by FlyingMinds, a now-defunct company that was all about merchandising Cyberchase back when it was big.
But they never made any other plushes, and the only other official 3D representations of Cyberchase characters were "Movin Matt" and "Digit Measuring Tape", the rare Carl's Jr/Hardees toy from 2003. Oh, and I suppose the Digit mascot costume also counts.
So, what the hell, I commissioned our main trio through ToyLandByOrlova, an Etsy seller from Ukraine.
https://www.etsy.com/shop/ToyLandByOrlova
I think Jackie turned out the best. We've got her funky purple shoes, yellow sweater, light blue skirt, and her hair up.
The shop gave her all of her jewelry, of course. Her bracelet, earrings, and necklace are all here.
Cyberchase characters have pretty simple faces, and the shop did a great job.
All of the characters are flexible enough to sit down, though they spring back to their default pose when you aren't holding them in a different position.
Alright, I won't keep Matt waiting any longer. We've got his green turtle-neck sweater, his blue jeans with the cuffs, his red-and-white sneakers...
... and his backpack. He is so rarely seen without it.
Here he is dabbing, which he did in that one episode with Hacker in it. Yes, the characters' clothing can be moved around some. It can't be taken off completely, which is fine. This is similar to the various Smile for Me characters from the same seller.
He can sit down just fine as well.
Honestly, this is a pretty reasonable interpretation of Matt's fluffy hair.
Nezzie! Sorry, Inez, force of habit. We got the pink long-sleeved shirt with the iconic yellow star. We've got the purple vest, the blue-green shorts, and the blue boots.
Her hair is a bit weird. To be fair, Nezzie's hair does defy the laws of physics in the show, so I think the seller did a fine representation.
She looks best from the side.
Face-on, her hair does look a little off.
Honestly, I find the back more funny than anything.
She didn't want to sit down like the other two.
Alright, the one thing that I found a little bit disappointing with this commission was Inez's skin-tone. She is noticeably lighter here than in the show. I asked the seller about this. This was the best color match that was available through their supplier. And she is still in-between Matt and Jackie.

So, no, this wasn't me attempting to make a clever reference to the infamous White Inez from the official "How It All Started" prequel web-comic.
I love these plushes. They came out so well.
Now, I figure people might be interested in buying their own Cybersquad, and those people might want to know how much these figures cost. However, the answer is complicated. So, ToyLandByOrlova has two types of products. First, you get listings for characters that the shop already knows how to produce. These have pictures of how the characters will look, as well as an estimated time of production and delivery. So, you buy them like you would buy anything else, and the character is made on-demand.
Second, you get listings discussing ordering your own custom plushes, who aren't in that first group. Instead of ordering directly from that listing, you message the seller with references for your character(s), and they give you a price and estimate of completion. If you come to an agreement, they give you a unique listing with those terms, and you buy that listing like you would buy anything else.
These three were purchased together under the second type of listing, the custom order. So, the cost was based on estimated materials and labor costs, as well a discount because I had previously bought the Smile for Me plushies (from the first type of listing). This trio cost me about $450. I consider them well worth the cost.

Was kicking my feet and giggling today at the thought of Slider never asks for help/runs into the Cybersquad and loses his garage to Hacker, who in turn goes I own everything here now and the place, and you can work your debt off, so the first time the cybersquad meet Slider he's working at some shop that Hacker owns but instead of being evil as expected he's just apathetic like bruh I literally do not care you do not have to try and sneak past me I promise. And is a weird semi help that is just way too tired to be dealing with everything, meanwhile saving every snelfu he can to try and not only pay back Hacker but buy his garage, and Hacker drags him to different places and demands he works in different areas and builds shit for him kinda as a haha you have to do what I tell you kinda way.
He'd be so "clumsy" at the worst time to help tip things in the favor of the cybersquad. Like WHOOPS accidently hit that lever, dang omg that opened the door????? Shoot, my bad dude. You better label these of something. He would be the least help on purpose until Hacker started fining him for these so-called "accidents."
Anyway-
Cyberweek Day Two: Friendship!
I just love the friendship between the main Cyber-Squad. No matter who you pair up, whatever problems you’re solving, you have the potential for a million different kinds of interactions. You get the sense that they have a strong bond, both as a team of four and individual friends. Good on you kids.
