Dragon Maid is a great anime tho

People keep telling me the characters are great and the chemistry between them is fun to see.  And maybe they are! 

But all I’ve seen of the show so far is “this chick has big boobs and that’s funny” “this chick has big boobs AND is perving on a 12-year old boy“ “this character that looks like a child is now getting gross pervy scenes with another child”

I don’t know how in-context any of this stuff is, and it’s possible (and probable) that I’m not giving the show a fair shake, but the stuff I’ve seen makes me really uncomfortable and I’ll probably never be able to give the show an actual shot.  Not to mention the only visual designs in the show that I like that I’ve seen so far are Tohru and Kobayashi (and even then Tohru’s gradient hair is dumb).  Everyone else just looks really weird to me.

If none of that bothers you and you’re able to enjoy the show for its high points, then honestly I’m glad for you!  But there’s just way too many strikes against it in my book, sorry.  It’s just not a show for me.

that's lithium-ion batteries for you. Never let them discharge completely, always store with remaining charge (at least 50%)

sadly it was basically dead and if you charged it up to 100% it would hold JUST enough charge to plug the laptop back in if you accidentally knocked the wire. As in <1 min. So keeping a charge in it was impossible I just didn’t know there was a RISK OF EXPLODING as that has never happened to me with anything else. :’)

What's the easiest way to quit smoking?

I don’t have any first-hand experience with smoking, but two of my brothers were avid smokers that have both switched over to e-cigarettes.  The thing I keep hearing about them is that it’s supposed to be like a stepping stone down from real cigarettes, so it should be a bit easier to quit from those than form normal cigarettes.
