me: This Character is amazing, I hope they won't do anything to hurt me in any way.
the game:
I’m challenging myself to draw one of my own or my friends’ characters every day for pride and this is the first!
Tavvy is my friend’s cyberpunk 2020 oc who was very spunky yet short lived
Industry City, a great place to live. Or so they tell you. Welcome to a megaplex city of advanced tech, super-powered people, Super-Powered
Hey I’m AJ. I’ve been a content creator for sometime now. This is my baby. This is my flagship. I’ve been world building this guy since I was 13. It’s been since 2005 that I’ve been working on this world. I’m making this in memory of a friend that passed away as well.
Anyway. Queer superheroes. Cyberpunk. Corrupt powered cops. Very DC heavy inspired. I hope you dig it!
Huntdown on Steam is too cool. So, here’s a checklist on what is cool:
Blade Runner Cyberpunk Pixel graphics The ‘80s Synthwave 2D shooting games
This game has it all. It's a cyberpunk bounty hunter game with a retro '80s aesthetic vision of the future, down to the Terminator-style synth music, CRT monitors, and floppy disk drives. Aside from Blade Runner’s obvious influence on the graphics, it includes some pretty cool nerd references.
Check out the movie posters! Aliens, Akira, and The Thing.
I found a secret area in Huntdown and found Kaneda's bike parked outside of a building. Awesome reference.
The Duke from Escape From NY can be found in another secret area.
Gizmo from Gremlins in yet another secret area!
A big plus for me is that the game runs on Steam OS. As a pure Linux user myself, this ensures compatibility automatically without needing to use the Proton utility. I just had my 2 year anniversary of migrating to Linux Mint, and I’ve ditched Microsoft forever.
Moore for @arcticberryredbull ! :D
