Hahaha ok so @cyclide I spent all day yesterday at a Very Important Meeting with Very Important People who want to accomplish Very Important Things and none of them know how to use social media. So I started explaining stuff and now long story short I have many clients.
Do you really work in a yarn shop? That's awesome! Do you also knot? If so what do you knit?
i really do! only part-time tho while i’m doing my masters but it’s ace. i knit a little bit (my mum’s been trying to teach me since i was like two but she’s so good at it that it’s intimidating) but it’s mostly a bit disastrous all round really, i’ve just ripped out one of the front bits of a cardigan for the... fourth? fifth? time. i just sewed up some cute handwarmers, though!

To my British followers (and to anywhere else that uses this phrasing): HAPPY Christmas.
I hope you all, whether or not you celebrate and whether or not you think fondly of Christmas, have a wonderful holiday week. Thank you all for making this past year, easily, one of the most significant, life-changing years of my life. It could so easily have been one of the worst, and it is 90% because of all of you that it was not.
Because of all of you, I felt cared for when I could have felt alone. Because of all of you, I grew when I could have stalled or regressed. Because of all of you, I learned about myself, learned that I have more worth than I used to give myself credit for, freed myself of burdens that held me back, conquered demons, and really started healing for the first time.
I really can't ever thank you enough. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being in my life. Thank you for caring for me and sharing with me and chatting about leather jackets and red lipstick. Thank you for keeping me on track, enabling me to complete more work (and more important work) than I ever have before. Thank you for helping me take control of every aspect of my life.
I love you all.

I do try to clean out my inbox frequently, but I don’t always clear out all the old stuff before influxes of new stuff. So I miss stuff sometimes.
I could cry right now over how sweet some of these messages are that I’ve missed. Thank you. Thank you all. Most of you probably don’t even remember sending them. But some of these I’m not even gonna delete, because looking at them makes me so happy. Extremely grateful for all of these.

The day I created this blog:
I didn’t realize at the time how truly important this blog would become to my life. But my life has been made immeasurably better since, and directly as a result of, the creation of this blog. I’d really rather not go into the details as to why.
