MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!
I'd say Happy Holidays, but it really is just Christmas going on right now.
To my British followers (and to anywhere else that uses this phrasing): HAPPY Christmas.
I hope you all, whether or not you celebrate and whether or not you think fondly of Christmas, have a wonderful holiday week. Thank you all for making this past year, easily, one of the most significant, life-changing years of my life. It could so easily have been one of the worst, and it is 90% because of all of you that it was not.
Because of all of you, I felt cared for when I could have felt alone. Because of all of you, I grew when I could have stalled or regressed. Because of all of you, I learned about myself, learned that I have more worth than I used to give myself credit for, freed myself of burdens that held me back, conquered demons, and really started healing for the first time.
I really can't ever thank you enough. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being in my life. Thank you for caring for me and sharing with me and chatting about leather jackets and red lipstick. Thank you for keeping me on track, enabling me to complete more work (and more important work) than I ever have before. Thank you for helping me take control of every aspect of my life.
I'm tagging some wonderful people, but if I have forgotten to tag you, know that I am dumb and forgetful and that I am absolutely happy to tag you if you see that I missed you. I just want to make sure that everyone who has been wonderful to me this year (either recently or long term) knows how much their help matters to me. <3 <3 <3
<3 Hollily and Jollily <3,
(PS: It used to be that the "tags" section would only show posts of the first five tags in a posts. So, if you are tagged number 6 or after and you search your url tag and it doesn't show up, that doesn't mean I didn't tag/don't love you. I've listed you in no particular order other than making sure not to list IRL friends in the first 5, because I can just tell you in person that I love you. ;) )
