Cymophane/Cats Eye 🐱

Cymophane (aka Cats eye), are considered good luck charms on homeworld and are usually asked for good fortune and sometimes are kept around amongst other high rank gems. They are lower Elite gems that can be in other gems court.

On Homeworld, they are not referred to as Cats Eye as I don’t think the gems know what a cat even is lol.

(Btw they DONT predict the future like sapphires, they just say good fortunes 🥠)

Brown Diamond is a strong fighter, talented craftsman and charismatic leader. Almost perfect, but slightly narcissistic. Emery is the strongest fighter who is not used to showing emotions. She can't imagine life without constant improvement, but hides a sensitive personality behind her diligence. Green Diamond is a gentle and understanding teacher, but because of her uncaring attitude a lot of her students ended up badly. Chrysoberyl and Cymophane are a pair of strong and very brash fighters. No doubt, they have saved quite a few Gems with their constant interference in other patrols. But they should be careful about taking too much initiative.

Sometimes chrysoberyl comes in a "cat's eye" variety called cymophane! Sometimes it even produces a 2-colored "milk-and-honey" effect!

uhhhh, Alexandrite is an varietie of a chryobeyl. Another chrysoberyl varieties are cat’s eye chrysoberyl, alexite, cymophane. For name reason, u can see chrysoberyl is a member of the beryl group, which is a very large group of gems.
