I'm new to #uddiyanabandha and still learning a lot about it. Upper and lower abs are easier to manipulate at this point, hence the vertical (rather than lateral) wave. #yoga #cyogalab #yogachallenge #pranayama

Day 2 of #cyogalab challenge. Thanks to a sweet gift from @seadonkey13 I was able to attempt this pose. These are the poses when I realize the flexibility in my back needs work...and with my #yogastrap and a lil time, this will be my year for it;)). #EkaPadaRajakapotasanaII #yoga #yogabody #yogachallenge #yogacore #yogalove #yogaeverydamnday #igyoga #iloveyoga #instayoga #yogagirl #yogagoals
Day 12 is bridge pose one legged variation for backbendnoend :). This is definitely a welcomed challenge! I had never tried wrapping my legs in this pose, and it definitely makes it difficult to keep the torso lifted. I warmed my back up with some other light backbends first before giving this a try and that was very helpful.
And finally, Day 9 of BackBendNoEnd; bow pose.
I’m really working on this! I realized some time ago that I had been thinking of this pose all wrong while doing it. I used to lift my thighs more while doing this pose, but it really clicked one day when I was doing a class focusing on lifting and opening the chest. It taught me to use the legs to keep pulling the chest upwards and create a deeper backbend and core workout. This is still only as far as I can lift my chest at the moment, but this logic has really helped me to improve and grow in this pose. :)
Day2 for BackBendNoEnd
The cursed splits.
Okay, not really cursed :p however as you can see I am a long ways from being able to comfortably do the splits. However, although I don’t have a picture of my first few attempts, I do feel a bit of a difference in flexibility. I also tried my hardest to keep my hips square.
I included the bottom photo as well because this is another pose that challenges me. :)
