I WAS SHOWERED!
My friends threw me an awesome shower on Saturday at Cyrano's in Webster Groves, MO. I couldn't have asked for a better party. We played a few games (nothing boring or annoying) that were a lot of fun! One was where the guests wrote down their bebe Haupt "projections" of birth (weight, length, sex and due date) based on what mine and Greg's birth results were. To my surprise...the majority picked GIRL! Yay! What an awesome surprise that would be. The other game was a "guess which baby" game where they listed all of these facts, events and milestones from our childhood and guessed which one of us it was. I LOVED THAT GAME! SO FUNNY! Then we were waited on by the friendly staff of Cyrano's from a selected menu and served delicious courses. There was even a bar with a bartender stocked with my FRE wine (non-alcoholic). It was great. The shower was OWL THEMED and oh-so-cute! "Whooooo's having a baby?" ADRORABLE. Each table had owls on it, and there was even a feathery nest that housed the personalized lip gloss favors.
KUDOS UPON KUDOS to my thoughtful friends. You did a GREAT JOB and I will always remember this. Love you!
OH! and how could I forget all the wonderful gifts! That is the main purpose and meaning behind the word "SHOWER" after all. Thank you to all that attended and even to those of you couldn't make it and took the extra special step to send me something special. It was so thoughtful.
Words cannot express my appreciation. I have a great bunch of friends who obviously care a lot about me. You made me feel so special.
