i absolutely hate the inclusion of the communities tab i hate that my activity isnt the third tab anymore despite YEARS of muscle memory and i hate that when i accidentally hit it and go up to hit home again, because i went to the communities tab it'll click on the first community that shows up because the home button is no longer in the same fucking place it was 2 seconds ago

like yes, i am viscerally repulsed by the thought of penetrative sex irl, that much is true. i also happen to enjoy the impossible-in-real-life fictional situations of being stuffed full of slime, or eggs, or both. plus a ton of other even wilder shit. these concepts are not mutually exclusive and it's really fucking annoying to be asked why im into fetish content if im ace after the 20th time

well, toby hasn't exactly been afraid to go for queer representation before, i have no idea what could stop him now.

like undertale had like, several gay or otherwise queer relationships, mettaton's story always read to me as pretty solidly transmasc, and alphys and undyne is like, one of the most iconic couples in gaming, i think.

though i do want to get into a tiny bit of a rant/vomit of thoughts bc of this but that'll be under a cut

so like. ralsei is trans. the writing is clear as fucking day. but i still see randos and ppl around me who say it's either inconclusive or how they want ralsei to "decide" to be trans in-game.

i wanna open by saying that sentiment, while probably not intended, feels incredibly just. dismissive? i dont want to say transphobic bc again i dont think it's intended in like 80% of it. like the evidence is fucking everywhere, first of all. but also-- it's not a CHOICE. if you are trans, there is no on or off switch for your gender identity. (gender fluidity is a bit of an outlier, but you still dont really CHOOSE, you FEEL differently moment to moment.) you can pretend there is, and cover it up in repression and self-loathing and ignoring it, but you will end up hurting yourself doing so. and this is something that happens repeatedly and often with ralsei. maybe not specifically with gender, but definitely with allegorical situations, like the scene in second sanctuary.

jax from TADC is already a shining example of a trans woman who is so deep in the closet that she would rather self-destruct and ignore it and hurt others than let them see her true self. because the last time she did, something horrible happened that just pushed her deeper into the closet and destructive self-loathing and isolation.

there's also the added layer with ralsei of the prophecy and how he's practically bound to it and that he "HAS" to be the prince because that's just what the prophecy decrees, all while trying to find a way to change the ending. because if he's NOT the prince, what is he? who IS the prince? it "HAS" to be him, because otherwise he has no purpose or goal.

this was a little long-winded but i did want to take the opportunity to rant, mostly bc ive been wanting to talk abt this stuff for a while and it's been eating at me
