Of all the clones the CZ-75 spawned, the Swiss produced some of the finest examples.
The 2000 was the first successful pistol put of by Sphinx Industries, a company that specialized in CZ-75 clones and produced a small amount of hand fitted, high quality handguns.
Some variants of the 2000 did see some service within specialized police and military units, albeit in small numbers.
