Asher (no surname provided) is wanted by the empire for stealing valuables from the homes of court ladies (and the occasional gentleman) after stealing their ‘virtue’. In the past couple years alone he’s taken irreplaceable heirlooms and priceless artifacts…. and almost 10k in [currency]. Luckily for him, no one has been brave enough to call him out for fear of their own dignity.

When his most recent conquest’s husband is found strangled the following day though, he’s officially been labeled a high priority target. He’s a lover, and a thief, but not a fighter, and he knows exactly who the murderer is.
