his left hand is gentle as it rests on the bare skin of your waist. his right hand rests softly against your cheek, moving lightly to brush your cheekbone with his thumb. his touch is almost like the wind - felt, but unseen. kyungsoo is always gentle.

his plush lips are soft to the touch against your own, bringing your body a warmth that no other could. his delicate aura and calming nature never fail to capture you, to bring your feet back to the ground.

his doe eyes watch your own as he pulls away, almost speaking to you in a language that only you could understand.

but his lips tell you anyway, breathing out the three words that make your heart flutter and race.

“i love you.”

♡ 18:08 ♡ "will you marry me?" you jokingly ask kyungsoo as you got down on one knee. "what? why?" he chuckles as he looks down at you. "because it's the leap day."

"no, not right now," he laughs as he pulls you up to your feet gently, planting a kiss to the top of your temple. "but it's the leap day, you have to say yes!" you argue with a smile on your face. "i'll say yes before the next leap day, i promise."

[12:39 pm] “hello! I was wondering if I could sit next to you?” you ask, tapping classmate! d.o on the shoulder. “you looked a little lonely, so I thought it would be fun if I came over!”

d.o quietly shakes his head, and you slide into the chair next to him. pulling out your computer and notebook, you say, “I heard this professor was really good at explaining the history behind each piece, so I’m excited to take this class, since last year my prof. was absolute trash. oh my bad, I forgot to introduce myself! I’m y/n! it’s nice to meet you! let’s be friends, yea?”

looking at your now outstretched hand, d.o shakes it, “nice to meet you y/n. I’m d.o. hopefully, we will have a good year together, and what you said about the professor is true. ”

seeing the said teacher walk into the lecture hall, you send a quick smile to d.o and mouth ‘likewise’ before diverting your attention to the front of the room.

‘this won’t be so bad,’ d.o thinks, looking at you from the corner of his eyes before opening his notebook.

“Why would you apologize for not wanting to have sex today?” Kyungsoo’s eyes are bigger than usual, clearly concerned. “You’re not a thing.”

His words are so simple and so pure, and you can’t help the tears coming down your cheeks.

Taking a deep breath, he embraces you in a tight hug and speaks very calmly. “I don’t know what happened in your past relationships. But I promise I’ll do my best to show you everyday how much you deserve to be loved.”

[7:34 pm] “kyungsoo! I heard the food wasn’t that good, and that you weren’t eating much! I’m worried! next time I visit you, I’ll bring a lot of good foods for you to eat, okay?” you worriedly say into the phone, after receiving a call from d.o while he was doing his required military service. “I’ll make your favorites, okay? just promise me that you will eat more!”

“of course. sorry for worrying you y/n. I’ll see you then! I love you”

“I love you more! bye!”

after hanging up, d.o can’t stop the butterflies from erupting in his stomach and his red cheeks.
