When you enter the market, the warm change in temperature causes you to exhale from comfort, and you crane your neck to eye the refrigerated section. There's one carton of the pink milk left. Thank God. You walk over, but just as you outstretch your hand to take it, another hand grabs your strawberry milk first. Before your fingers can brush against the dark-haired boy's, you quickly retract your hand, silently shocked. He looks at you, equally surprised, and you try to hide your disappointment. "Sorry," you say, providing a light chuckle to ease the situation.
He gazes at you for a bit before giving you the carton and a bright smile. "Here. I haven't had the banana milk in a while, anyway," he says easily.
Your eyes widen again. "Are you sure?"
"Of course! Take it."
You do as he says and shyly smile. "Thank you so much, that's really kind of you."
"It's nothing... if you tell me your name," he says with playful eyes. You laugh and tell him, and when you ask for his, he replies, "Byun Baekhyun. Nice to meet you."
You say the same and realize that you don't want to lose this cute boy to the hundreds of others on campus, not now and not any time soon. With your heart thudding, you ask, "Um, are you free sometime? I would like to see you again."
Again, he smiles, which you realize the corners of his mouth are always ready to do. "I should be. Give me your number."
So, you leave the market with your carton of milk and Baekhyun as a new contact. You worry that you're too excited to finish any homework tonight, for the two of you have planned to meet each other the following night at the café next door.

Restless looking at the huge spring garden through his bedroom window, like he is eagerly waiting for something to happen, Chanyeol asks his butler, impatient: "What time is it now?"
–"It's fifteen minutes past four, your highness."
–"Hmmmm, she is a little late today. Did something happened? She should already be... Oh there she is!", Chanyeol started murmuring quietly to himself, just to let an excited exclamation out at the end. –"How do I look? I chose my best clothes today, can you tell it?", he once again adresses his butler, that tries to hide a discreet smile from the prince, as he responds: –"For sure, your highness, for sure. You look splendid as always."
Taking one last glance to the mirror, proud and satisfied, Chanyeol walks with large steps to the door, poorly excusing himself out of the room: –"I... I'll be right back, I'm just... Taking some fresh air. You don't need to follow me, don't worry."
With a playful expression, the butler tells something that makes Chanyeol smile from ear to ear before ultimately leaving through the door :–"The flower girl, her name is Y/N."

While walking to the garden, Chanyeol plays in his head the conversation he has been rehearsing for some time now. He's been waiting for this day, the day he finally gets the courage to speak to you. You, the one he has been secretly watching through his window everyday, taking care of millions of colorful flowers. The one who enchanted him deeply and sincerely just by existing.
But all the previous preparation means nothing when he finally finds himself in front of you. Looking at your figure among the vast carpet of pink roses, he notes you're unbelievable more lovely up close than he has ever dreamed of. You two are having an interesting chat about birds, when you hear from afar the voice of Chanyeol's butler, calling him back to reality:
–"Your highness, the queen is looking for you! It seems that you promised having dinner with her."
Chanyeol looks sad. He presses his lips together in disappointment: –"Oh, oh no! Ahhhh I forgot it! Ahh well, I have to go, unfortunately. But I see you tomorrow, Y/N! See you tomorrow." He hesitates a bit, before finally making his legs move away from you, leading him back to the palace.
"See you tomorrow, Y/N". You lost count of how many times you repeated this phrase in your mind, displaying the foolest smile on your face. He knows your name. And you will see him again tomorrow. The one you've been secretly watching on the window everyday. The one who enchanted you deeply and sincerely just by existing.
