Lois looked up suddenly to see Diana behind her and she couldn’t help but chuckle, snapping the book shut in her lap. She leaned her head slightly against Diana’s hand, letting out a soft sigh. “Hey,” she greeted, closing her eyes. “Here to check up on me?” she asked, raising her eyebrows though her eyes were still closed. “Because I’m fine. Promise.”

Lois and Clark may not have been what they used to be, but that didn’t mean that she had lost contact with everyone she knew through Clark, and certainly not Diana. She would recognize Diana anywhere, and when Lois saw her on the street, she couldn’t help but wave and go up to her. “Long time no see,” she said coolly, though she couldn’t help but grin and stretch her arms out for a hug. “How are you?”
