HMMM let’s see. currently my main faves seem to be Bendy, Candyman, and Plague Knight

Bendy just came along at the perfect time for me, I’ve always REEEALLY loved the early era of animation, how cute and downright bizarre it looks sometimes. I’ve been waiting for Cuphead to come out but it’s been postponed a lot and I’ve been really bummed about it (it SHOULD BE coming out for real soon though so i’m excited) but when I found out there was a horror game out about old cartoons I was like hOLY FUCK DUDE!!!!!!!! and i fell in love pretty much immediately lmao. Even though there’s like no canon stuff about what his personality and stuff is like beyond the fact he’s now a malevolent monster probably out to kill you, I still love him a lot and basically every fanon interpretation of him is good in my heart. It makes me so happy to see so many people drawing in that sort of art style, either making fanart of the characters from the game or making their own OCs. The fandom is huge and booming rn there’s so much content its almost overwhelming sometimes lmao BUT IT’S PRETTY GREAT FOR NOW

I’m so bummed out that I got into Lethal League pretty late, after most of the fandom died down, my boyfriend had gotten the game as a gift from a friend and he told me about it and let me try it out (He shares his steam library with me) and once I got to the character screen I instantly screenshotted Candyman and was like “This guy’s my favorite”........ I love how goofy and cartoony he is!!!! And he’s so bright and happy he just makes me smile every time i see him. His voice makes me laugh too he has some great lines in-game. I can’t even play as any other character in that game because it doesn’t feel right ;;; At least in the pretty dead fandom he seems to be the most popular character besides Latch so I see new fanart of him now and then

Shovel Knight was another thing I was pretty late to the party on, but that still has content being released so the fandom ain’t as dead thank god. Aiden streamed it when he played it on PC and he was like “I wonder who your favorite’s gonna be” and then I saw Plague Knight’s little picture and I just knew.................

And Aiden was like “you know you can play as him too, right?” and I was like WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then I saw how cute he was in his DLC story and i just dsbjksfghkjlfdhsdfhpb. (insightful)

FAVES I’VE HAD THE LONGEST...uhh. Doopliss was the first “I’M IN LOVE WITH THIS BOY I’M GONNA DRAW MYSELF KISSING HIM” favorite I ever had when I was like...7 or 8??, followed by Spat from Ham Ham Heartbreak and then Meta Knight. I still love them all sfhjkdsdfh

I do have a few distinct types that I like... but they’re kinda hard to describe

The small mischievous ones, who gets into lots of trouble but wants to have a good time (bendy (in my headcanon anyway), doopliss)

The big ones who look like they could kill you but are like a big puppy dog (gumshoe, zarya, bowser)

The weirdo nerds (plague knight, kururu, dr. phage)

The desperate flirts/hopeless romantics (cactus gunman, sanji, teruteru when i was younger)

and there’s a few more i’m forgetting but those are the main ones i could think of
