Ray Rizzo knew about the ball. I help run a trading group on facebook and him and his "friend" (Pearl Ly) would always ask for flawless shiny pokemon in rare balls. All those pokemon were power saved since thats what the trading community has come to

I had a feeling that something like that was the case. I had no idea about powersave until I just googled it now, and I am familiar with action replay.

(This is a long tangent, but I used to mess around with Action Replay as a kid with my best friend at the time. In the pokemon diamond and pearl games we would play little minigames after we had beaten the game around three times for the both of us, like finding the secret lake or having competitions against each other by catching 6 random pokemon, leveling them up to lv 100 and battling it out. We never played online anyways because none of our wifi connections worked with our ds’s. It was a lot of fun at the time, but back then I also wasn’t into competitive battling too much. Sure, I had a taste with my friend (and I would always beat her because Luxray was my favorite of that gen while hers was Staraptor, and I had the advantage of growing up with pokemon while she didn’t.) We had a lot of harmless fun so using hacked pokemon if you even dare to in the first place is alright as long as your opponents know and are okay with the fact that you’re using hacked pokemon. But when it’s on a tournament level, even if it’s at a con or a meet, do not use the hacked pokemon what-so-ever even if they’re no different then a regularly trained pokemon. Also, there’s pokemon showdown so I’d rather people go support that site rather then devices that profit off of hacking and breaking games. They have caused way too many problems as you can see and it will only lead to the scenario that I came up with in the post before. The hackers that I have seen these days have also let it go to their heads and it has created this nasty winning mentality where people will go to lengths to try to win a game rather then play the game for the game it’s self and have a good time. Kind of like the Rizzo case it seems, though I guess it’s more laziness in the end.).

I have to say, that’s a very specific request as well over things that can’t be easily obtained in the game (asides from almost flawless pokemon). I’m now suspicious of his Mawile too. Well, I was before because managing to get a shiny mawile that seems to have perfect ivs and hits like a truck seems oddly suspicious to me. You’d need two 5-6iv parents one with the right nature and both of different countries while medusa breeding to even have a chance of getting one. It is possible but most people in their right mind will take either just a perfect mawile or make the shiny one work out even if it might not be the strongest (Like I try to do with my own even though my Mawile’s nature is wrong or my Shiny Scrafty who also doesn’t have a beneficial nature or good ivs but I use him anyways because he was a large part of my pokemon X and Y experience).

But I guess having proof to my theories about Rizzo’s Agislash is enough to say that he was in fact cheating, and he did know about it too. Or at least for sure “Pearl Ly” knew what he was doing (Despite obtaining a legit perfect Honedge which could take maybe a few hours at most unless if you were to change it’s original set completely.) If it were something like an unburdened Aerodactyl then I might be a bit more lenient as they are quite difficult to breed for one of it’s main sets, but it was an Agislash. There is no excuse for it and I am furious.

I’m also furious by how most people are reacting to this as well, brushing it off as just being no big deal. But I think it’s a huge one. I’ve explained it in my last post and I’ll link it at the bottom.
