I like Wolfey, and he is certainly not lacking in charisma or stage presence, but if I had a reputation for the playstyle of "trapping your opponent and singing a cursed melody that will kill you in 3 turns," I would totally make an aesthetic out of it. I would be showing up to regionals in a cloak. I'd be in interviews calling myself "Wolfe Glick the Dark Lord."

pokemon move design is seriously so funny they've added so many layers of granularity it's a nightmare

like obviously a move has a type, power, accuracy, effect, its physical or special, its status or damage, pp amount

but is it sound based? is it ball/bullet/bomb based? is it pulsed based? does it make contact or not (unrelated to physical special)? is it a jaw move? does it nullify resistsnces when it hits spicifically flying types? is it a healing move? is it a dance based move? is it priority? is it powder based? all of these are real things that affect a battle a lot and also it's impossible to know a lot of them unless you know that acid spray is a bullet move cus it was translated weird and it's called acid bomb in japanese. like i love it but also what are we doing here. explain the prankster dark type interaction to a gen 4 ou player
