Dedicated 2 Tha Streets (D2ThaS) | Livin’ In A Hellhole [Remix] | 1993
D2ThaS was a rap duo from Chicago formed by The Legendary Traxster, K-Tone and DJ Kaoss 1 (from CMB) and they were part of the Ill State Assassins crew. They released three 12inches together, ‘Livin In A Hellhole’ in '93, which also contains the songs ’ Gimme My Reck’ and 'Sound Of Revolution’, and 'Doomsday’ in '94, that included the tracks 'Caps Get Peeled’, the tape only bonus 'Come Wid It’, and their most famous 'Dissing These Fools’ featuring Toxic, which was a direct respond to Naughty By Nature’s Treach’s negative comments about Twista and Chicago MCs in general. By this time they started promoting their upcoming album 'Massive Blows’ which unfortunately never dropped. In '96 'My Brothaz Keepa’ + 'Whatz On The Other Side’ came out, and that would be the last D2ThaS release. Traxster kept focused on production work, and later went on to form another group called 'Shock The World’ with Toxic of The Chamba. K-Tone would also go on to do more production work for various Chicago artists, until it was announced that he sadly passed away on September 12th of 2010.
