Taken 05.23.17 - Went back to the study/hangout space on campus again today and played games with our friend. V totally thrashed me at air hockey so now I have to practice hard to be able to compete with her again.

DAY 67/730, WEEK 10/104 - July 8th, 2013 (Monday)
* Smith Machine cable supported barbell has 20 lbs support.
* Better balance and control since it slides on guided vertical bars.
* Safer option after my Shoulder Sprain couple weeks ago. But will move on to the free barbell bench press in a few weeks. Smith Machine does not train my stabilizer muscles like free weights do.
CHEST
Incline Barbell Bench Press (Smith) – 75, 95, 95 lbs (35 x 2 + 45 - 20); 12r/3s
Flat Barbell Bench Press (Smith) – 95 lbs (35 x 2 + 45 - 20); 12r/3s
Cable Crossover - 80, 100, 100 lbs (50 x 2) ; 12r/3s
First day doing upper body exercises after my shoulder sprain two weeks ago. Going easy for a few weeks with lower weights and higher reps (10-12). Avoiding free barbell exercises and switched to the cable supported barbell for safety reasons. Also did only 3 exercises for chest instead of 4.
TRICEP
Seated Dip Machine - 80, 90, 90 lbs ; 12r/3s
Cable Tricep Pushdowns - 80, 90, 100 lbs ; 10-12r/3s
Rope Tricep Pushdowns - 40 lbs ; 8-10r/3s
Did less tricep exercises too with lower weights and high reps. Did Rope Tricep Pushdowns for the first time. It’s lot more difficult than the bar pushdowns as your forearms go sideways to push on the triceps. I could do only 40 lbs.
Overall a good first day after my injury. :-)
