To say I fell in love with Granny Cadash would be an understatement. I want her to be my granny. I want the gossip and the recipes and the advice. I hope this musical piece captures even a fraction of her big personality that came through both in the letter and the handwritten recipe for pulled nug butt.
Recommend reading the fic/recipe that inspired this first to get a full appreciation for the music. I genuinely felt like I was struck by a lightning bolt of inspiration composing this, the character voice in the letter and the recipe was so evocative.

Probably my best work from the event. It was so much fun collaborating with Team Orlais on this. I really do recommend going and reading/appreciating the whole series in order. There’s recipes, there’s art, there’s music, a news article! It’s great. Plus, a very elaborate artwork to finish out the series.

I filled the rarepair prompt for the Dragon Age Create-a-Thon (at time of writing, only two other fics had the Inquisitor/Eustace Morris tag). Honestly, I kind of fell in love with this pairing as I wrote it. I loved talking to Quartermaster Morris in the games, but admittedly the whole thing started out as a bit of a joke and then it just spiraled from there. I rarely write anything other than gen fic, but this pairing kinda grabbed me by the throat.
I should mention, it’s a bit saccharine sweet, but if you like that sort of thing, I think you’ll enjoy this fic :3
