Okay, okay, I'll rec some Murderdock fics!

The truth is I'm pretty sure I've already posted my absolute favorites maybe a few weeks ago. I'm not entirely convinced I didn't hallucinate it but I've been answering so many asks (/positive!!) that I don't feel like digging for it. So this is a random collection of fics I liked enough to bookmark, but not literally all of them.

I know for a fact that I've said this before, but I'll say it again: Rumspringa Murderdock is the fic that got me into Murderdock. I thought it was just a college era fic with a twist, but very quickly realized it, uh, wasn't. It's great mattfoggy content, angsty but well done, and murderdock is young enough that I buy the heel-face turn.

My Roommate: Matt Murdock is another favorite, although I have a few squabbles with it. Still, I reread it a lot. It's one of the few fics I feel like really touch on the fact that Murderdock's gotta have a pretty fucked up way to approach relationships. Foggy doesn't even realize he's in one for much of this fic, and is actively in denial for the rest of it. Also, I really like the Hand in this. And Otomo.

Better Left For Dead is one of two stories with the exact same premise and sharing many of the same story beats (written in tandem on purpose): matt dies, is brought back by the hand, he's a little off, he becomes obsessed with Foggy. Better Left For Dead is my personal favorite of the two, but they're both worth reading!

learning to live with ya is a little confusing if you don't understand the context of all the different spiders (and there are so goddamn many), but like, this au is a spin off of another au and it's a whole thing, don't feel obligated to read it if you don't want to. The first two times I read this fic I just let the itty/bitty stuff wash by me and I loved it. It's a pretty standard get together fic, as much as da!foggy/Murderdock can have a standard get together fic. I love the character arcs here, anyway.

ya cold, hun is a totally standalone oneshot from the same series as above and just a great exploration of Gwen & Murderdock's (fanon) character dynamic. Gwen finds Murderdock's cat and returns it to him. It's short and sweet.

Finally, I've written two short fics for Murderdock & Gwen myself, less an apocalypse for a short fic challenge, and human after all for a prompt someone left in the replies of one of my posts losing my mind over the man. Less an apocalypse is a canon compliant short about Gwen's evil training program, and human after all is about "what if they met in a grocery store, wouldn't that be funny?"

Anyway I love this murder man and I hope more people get into him just so I can consume more content about him please
