At least three times a day I get struck by the fact that they’re filming season 2 of the Pitt right now. Somewhere probably like 7000 miles away from me, they are in that wb plot filming my favourite tv show. The whole cast, a whole new storyline, character developments I mean how fucking lucky are we!

like it’s not that hard to say dr al hashimi or baran (which she said she prefers)

i almost considered waiting until everything was out but i'm glad i didn't

the pitt s2 spoilers under the cut! (just some unorganized thoughts after watching)

i love mel so much, watching her talk w the patient who's trying to ask her out was so relatable i fear

ALSO seeing whitaker taking a leadership role along w the callbacks to s1 is amazing (also garcia lowkey confirming that her and santos are in some sort of relationship? say less)

the way they showed santos speaking tagalog w princess is maybe my favorite callback to s1, espc to talk about things they don't want the rest of the staff to know (bilingual people make me so jealous)

i love emma the new nurse, i know we've barely gotten anything abt her, but damn i love her already (also she's gorgeous)

if supriya ever wanted to narrate audiobooks, i'd listen to every book they read, i love her voice so freaking much

also, samira taking a fellowship (?) in jersey?? i love the drama w her mom, maybe i relate to her too much too

i'm really excited to see how things go with dr al-hashimi, the cliffhanger with her and the baby is going to make me insane, i already want to know everything about her (is referring to her as dr al the correct way to refer to her? i'm not familiar with arabic last names, but is it similar to van in dutch/da in italian that it means from or is a descriptor to the second part of the last name?)

i love how this show goes into the different perspectives of practicing emergency med (espc as someone who plans on going into emergency med in the future), robby and dr al-hashimi's conflict this season over how they practice is going to be amazing (i hope)

having spent a lot of time in va hospitals (my dad is a vet and the va covers his medical)

it honestly makes sense that baran hasn’t been sued, like va care is often free or very much reduced, so there’s less of a chance that someone will sue

most of the time coming from a military family sucks

but w the pitt it gives me such an understanding of jack's backstory/methodology bc of my family's experiences

like my dad is ex infantry and he still knows how to emergency iv and simple medical stuff from his basic training
