they are all very kickass and I love them!! :D I find playing a female avatar more enjoyable which is why most of my PC-s are female, but hey, strong women who can pick you up?? hell yes???!!
anyway.
my Hawke is default Marian, and I never really gave her a big complicated backstory--I enjoy the narrative DA2 sets up a lot and never felt the particular need to dig my teeth in Hawke’s character more. that said: I played a reddish purple two-handed warrior (that class in DA2 is so satisfying to play! snap snap chop! mmmmm :’)), romanced Fenris (yes, really) and sided with the mages. I alternate between leaving her or Stroud in the Fade, but I don’t think I could actually ever canon-kill her off.
hahahaha I enjoyed that painting! I rarely draw her as anything but calm and in control, even though she’s not really.. like that on the inside? so it was kind of nice to let her be outwardly angry for once :) she is casting walking bomb, which is an awesome spell and I love it.
and since every time I feel frustrated or sad or worried I somehow pop out some angsty Iraine related stuff, the answer to your last question is a hearty very likely, my dude
