This research is for a graduate beginners research methodology course.

The results are not being published, so IRB approval is not required.

Your responses are anonymous and used only to complete a class assignment.

Hi, I am a graduate student in Graphic Information Technology at Arizona State University. I am conducting research on "How long-form and short-form media influence promotional design in games"

To complete my research I need to collect survey responses. If you are an Indie Developer who has created their own promotional material, or work in game promotional design I would appreciate your participation in my survey. The survey does not collect personal or proprietary information, I am asking about experience in promotional design and the use of media such as "Let's Play" or game shorts on tik-tok. No questions are required with the exception of the consent question and the survey is fairly short with options to give me your experiences in your own words.

Survey responses should be public if I followed the correct directions.

IRB Review was waived for a beginning course so I do not have an Ethics number the survey collects 0 information on a personal or proprietary basis.

At about the age of 10 or 11 I first read The Diary of Anne Frank and for the next 40 years I've read books, watched documentaries all searching for HOW? How could Germany allow the Third Reich to take control of its democratic country?

Over the last several months it has become clear how. This is not a hyperbolic statement. The Reich, like the MAGA crowd manipulated the economic recession/depression by scapegoating a select ethnic group, the only difference was which group was chosen. In the name of "fixing" the problem a single group "caused", rights were slowly ignored as the shift began.

We started with the 5th amendment and no due process, as we have allowed that to continue we've moved into the 4th amendment, Unlawful search and seizure, (read the story about Chop the family dog) and the 1st Amendment, right to free speech, see Portland and Chicago and the claim of violent protests and silencing "ANTIFA" , the claim that the upcoming legal protest is violent and a Hate America Rally. The right to a free press, requiring submission by the Pentagon press corps just for starters.

As you ignore these stories, as you pretend this is all normal, as you justify the slow erosion of our rights, from the "Patriot Act" to now, you are the "How" I searched for for the last 40yrs. Denying it or laughing about it, or claiming I'm paranoid won't change the facts. Do the research, find the history we're repeating, it's all there and it's all obvious with just the smallest bit of the vast information out there.

Well, today I officially turn in my last assignment. A Twine game based on one of my fanfics, I changed the names and altered the story so it's not DA but there it is lol. I am looking through my art to find pics to illustrate it before I turn it in. As such my project has changed slightly, I am creating promotional materials for a video game currently in production (yes, a real Indie game) If you could take a moment and respond to my survey to help me get a good idea of what consumers want to see in promotional materials I would be ecstatic! Well, here I am. I am working on my Capstone project for Graduation. I am designing an app for a Pet Grooming Shop.
