didnt get very far bc i realized that leandras insistence the family stay in kirkwall is the only reason they stopped there and didnt travel further, which our malcolm would Definitely have done. especially as the start of the game has hawke & co staying in the gallows courtyard for /three days/ before gamlen arrives

What's up with da2 having "constantly keeping tabs on someone without their knowledge" be a neutral reoccurring plotpoint. Like sorry I know I'm on record as saying that when Varric does it it's funny but now that I've given more thought to whatever the fuck Aveline's problem is it's kinda.... I mean I'm a little concerned that someone or multiple someone's in that writer's room actually thinks that this is normal behavior
