I love how Neve doesn't talk directly about Brom much but he is EVERYWHERE in her story when you start looking. The way she physically reaches out and says "What? No-" when Rook is about to run off alone into Solas' ritual. The way she's always trying to tackle dangerous missions herself - how she resists Rook's help with the stolen relic case at first; the way she doesn't wait for Rana. The way she can barely look at Brom's amulet during the scene with Bel and Rook where they're talking about serials.
i know that necrotic damage is supposed to be like, poisoned weapons, but i am instead choosing to believe that mourn watch rook just doesn't clean her gear and her unsanitary, germ-covered, rusty swords are giving people tetanus
she's mad!!! >:(
little detail I love: after that first lighthouse scene where Spite bloodies Lucanis' nose and Lucanis asks everyone to leave until Spite settles down, you get slightly different openings to this chat if you check in quick vs if you leave, complete a quest, and come back.
finally figured out what this screenshot reminded me of
This is Alec's canon response and also one of my favorite Solas moments in the game. I LOVE the reactions you get from him when you come at him with the more upfront, furious options in act 3. Rook completely has the read on him here and Solas has lost the leverage he's been using to manipulate them. WHAT A MOMENT WHAT A SITUATION.
