Beatrice/Benedick from Much Ado and Han/Leia both hit kind of the same dynamic for me, with the verbal sparring and the “We’re not in love and we will deny it until we realize it and then we’re inseparable” thing. 

Elisa/Goliath from Gargoyles. Oh my god. So one of my friends was rewatching it and livetweeting, and I hadn’t thought about it in years, and suddenly my descent into Shakarian hell made complete and utter sense because I apparently have been shipping badass human ladies and intimidating-looking alien cinnamon rolls for so long I literally forgot. 

Wash/Zoe from Firefly. They were just so incredibly in love and not dramatic about it? I mean, other things/people were important to them, but that was the primary thing that made everything else worth it. And that’s what made it hurt so bad when he died.

BRUCE/NATASHA OH MY GOD. Probably Abbie/Ichabod, if I still watched Sleepy Hollow. Barry/Iris, if the writers ever get off their asses and pull the trigger. I am totally not caught up on Agents of SHIELD but I have Heard Things about Melinda/Andrew.

13. Do you have a favorite character to write for?

I’ll answer this for couple different fandoms: in Person Of Interest, I liked to write Harold or Joss’s POV’s the most, because the whole point of the show is that John is the one whose headspace is the weirdest, and Harold and Joss felt more accessible to me. In the Hobbit, Thorin was actually my favorite POV, because he’s basically a constipated old man who hates everything and I understand that. And in Star Trek, it was Spock, because Spock always read so specifically to me.
